Proving What is Acceptable to the Lord (Ephesians 5:9-13)

Pastor Dennis, April 30, 2017
Part of the Exposition of Ephesians series, preached at a Sunday Service service

Most Christians don't realize how awful their unregenerate condition was. God says "We were darkness" (Ephesians 5:8). God's divine power changed us to light and He expects us to walk in the light. This sermon explains the fruit of the light and how we know God's will and how we are to expose the unfruitful works of darkness.

Ephesians 5:9-13

9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
