The Fear Of The Lord (Proverbs 14:26-27)

The Fear of the Lord, May 7, 2017
Part of the Immanuel Baptist Church series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

In this sermon we explore what the writers in the Old and New Testament meant by fearing The Lord. That we are to come before The Lord not only with honor and reverence, but with fear and trembling, as we consider the very words of scripture. The fear of The Lord also brings about great confidence for the Christian as he avoids the snares of death through a life changed and transformed by Jesus Christ.
