This Lord's Supper message explains the ways God has given to His people to remember His redemptive work for them. In the old covenant, it was the passover. In the new covenant, it is the Lord's supper with the bread and the cup. The new covenant believers are expected to honor the Redeemer by living a holy life. Those who fail to remember their new responsibilities as Christians, desecrate the Lord's supper and will be chastened by God.
