The Cross Of Christ Speaks

The Old Rugged Cross, where Jesus went to atone for our sins, still speaks many messages to the world. First, the cross speaks of the sinfulness of sin. Man's sin was so wicked and soul destroying that nothing except the substitutionary atonement could help. Second, the cross speaks of God’s love. God did not have to love us or provide salvation for us but the cross is a demonstration of God’s "Agape" love. Third, the cross speaks of a glorious future for believers. On earth, we are new creations with power to live victoriously on our sojourn. When Jesus returns our future will be a perfect life of peace, joy and sinless fellowship with God.
