All men are sinners and as such, or alienated from God. Men need to be reconciled to God but they can't be in their own strength and wisdom. They need someone to help them. God provided the perfect Mediator for lost man, Jesus Christ. God's wrath burns against sinners but Jesus bore that wrath on the cross to remove God's anger in His substitutionary atonement. Those who have been reconciled to God show evidence of it by a changed life.
